Human rights and minority affairs department government of Punjab has invited applications for grant of merit and need base scholarships to the students of minorities of Punjab province for the year 2024- 2025. You can download the application form from this page.

Important Points

Only those minority students can apply for these scholarships who are regular students of any registered public educational institution such as high school, colleges, universities, medical colleges, and engineering colleges. Students of those federal educational institutions may also apply for these scholarships which are located in Punjab province. Students of such federal educational institutions can not apply for scholarships under this program which are located out side the Punjab province. Students of distance learning institutes are not eligible for these scholarships.

More Details About Scholarships for Minority Students in Punjab 2024

Department can cancel scholarship at any time in case of any misleading or wrong information provided by any student. Following scholarships will be awarded to minority students. Professional education-50000 Post graduation level-35000 Graduation level-30000 Intermediate level-20000 Matriculation/O level-15000 Only those students belonging to any minority can apply for scholarship under this program who are regular students and who have got minimum fifty percent marks in their last exam. Students are advised to submit the following documents along with application form attested by any gazetted officer of 17th grade.

Documents Needed

1-All the educational documents/equivalence certificates

2-National identity card of student or his guardian

3- recent passport size colored photographs

4-Domicile certificate of applicant

5-In case of semester system, student will have to submit attested result card of last semester issued by controller of examination or head of institute.

Final Words

The income of student’s family must be below 34800 rupees per month. Applicants must also have to submit income certificate attested by any gazetted officer of 17th grade. Last date for submission of applications is 00-09-2024. Application submitted after due date and incomplete applications will not be entertained.
