Interest Free HBL, MCB, UBL, ABL & NBP Student Loan Scheme 2024, Form Download
National Bank of Pakistan has invited applications for NBP student loan scheme 2024. This NBP student loan will be 100% interest free. Public sector institutions students of session 2023 who are enrolled for graduation, post graduation, MPhil and PhD in approved subjects can apply for interest free loan under this scheme. Candidate should have got at least 70% marks in his last exam and he/she should fulfill all other eligibility criteria. Applicant must be economically weak and he/she should be willing to continue his/her education. Last date for submission of applications along with required documents is 00 July, 2024.
Approved Subjects For NBP Student Loan 2024
Students of following 15 subjects can apply for NBP student loan 2024;
1-All Engineering disciplines
2- Electronics
3- Oil Gas & Petro-Chemical Technology
4-Agri Sciences
5-Medical
6-Physics
7-Chemistry
8- Biology, Molecular Biology & Genetics
9-Math
10-All Natural Sciences
11- DAWA and Islamic Jurisprudence (L.L.B/L.L.M Shariat)
12-Computer Science, Information Technology (IT) and System including hardware Engineering.
13-Economics, Statistics & Econometrics
14-Business Management Sciences
15- Commerce
Eligibility Criteria
Following students can apply for NBP student loan 2024.
Who have got admission on merit through normal procedure in the approved subjects and in approved educational institutes (colleges or universities) of the government sector.
Who have obtained at least 70% marks in their last class.
Maximum age limit for the different courses is
Graduation – 21 Years
Post-Graduation – 31 Years
Ph.D – 36 Years
Who are unable unable to continue their studies due to financial problems.
Maximum duration of the NBP student loan 2024Â is 10 years. Students will have to repay their loan within this duration. Students will have to repay the first monthly installment of the loan after six months of getting first job or one year after the completion of studies, which ever is earlier.
Important Points
1- Eligible students will be given loan but it will be subject to available funds.
2-Incomplete, late and application other than on prescribed forms will not be considered.
