Breaking News- HEC to Establish Sub Offices in All Government Universities
As per media news Higher Education Commission is considering to establish its sub offices in all government sector universities of Pakistan. Higher Education Commission is considering this suggestion to facilitate the students of public sector universities. Now students will able to submit their degrees in HEC sub offices in their own universities for attestation. These sub offices will not be fully authorized rather they will play the role of collection centers.
They will receive the degrees for attestation and provide the students information about different programs (PM laptops scheme, PM Fee reimbursement scheme), scholarships and services of HEC. Still main role will be of central office of HEC as far as attestation of degrees are concerned. They sub offices will work under the regional and central HEC offices.Now students will not have to travel to regional centers of HEC for ordinary matters. These sub offices will also provide services to the students of private universities. It was a very old demand of all public sector universities of Pakistan that’s why HEC is considering this suggestion very seriously. If Higher Education Commission will implement this scheme then will be no need of any provincial higher education commissions at all.
Studysolutions.pk also suggest that Higher Education Commission should take this decision to facilitate the students at grass root level. This step is the need of the hour. As students are suffering a lot due to undue delay and expenditures in degrees attestation process. Higher Education Commission should also establish an testing agency under its supervision and control.
