Indian Constitution
1-Dr. B.R Ambedkar is known as father of the Indian Constitution as he was the chairman of the Drafting Committee. Indian Constituent Assembly adopted the Constitution on 26 November 1949, but it was enforced from 26 January, 1950.
Jawaharlal Nehru
2-First Prime Minister of India Jawaharlal Nehru was born on 14 Nov 1889, he died on 27th May, 1964. He was son of Motilal Nehru. Indra Ghandi was his daughter.
Gandhi
3-Full name of Gandhi was Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi. Gandhi was born on 2 October, 1869. He was shot dead by an extremist Hindu Nathuram Godse on 30th Jan, 1948. He was founder of nonviolent resistance for getting independence from colonial rule.
Operation Blue
4-Operation Blue Star was the code name of an Indian military operation against Sikh freedom fighter Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale. This action was carried out between 1 June 1984 to 8 June 1984 at Harmandir Sahib complex in Amritsar which is the most sacred religious place for Sikhs.

Indo China War 1965
5-Sino-Indian war was fought from 20 October 1962 to 21 November, 1962 at Aksai Chin‎ and ‎North-East Frontier. India was defeated in this Indo China war in-spite of getting heavy military aid from USA, USSR and West.

6-Indian film industry is called Bollywood. It is almost double than Hollywood in term of movies made per year.
Rajiv Ratna Gandhi
7-Full name of 6th Indian Prime Minister was Rajiv Ratna Gandhi. He remained in office from 1984 to 1989. He was the youngest Indian PM who came into power at the age of 40. He was assassinated at the age of 46 years on May 21, 1991 in a suicide attack during election campaign by Tamil extremists.
L. K. Advani
8-Complete name of L. K. Advani is Lal Krishna Advani. He was 7th Deputy PM of India from 2002 to 2004 under Prime Minister Vajpayee. He is one of the co-founders Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). He is famous for its extremist Hindu mindset.

9-It was Indian PM Jawaharlal Nehru who first took the Kashmir issue to the UNO on 1st Jan, 1948. Now India is facing serious problems in Kashmir due to revoking its special status.

PMÂ Morarji DesaiÂ
11-Morarji Desai served as 4th Prime Minister of India from 1977 to 1979. He belonged to Janta Party. He was the the first non-Congress PM of India. He was also famous for drinking the urine of cow.
Bofors Scandal
12-Indian PM Rajiv Gandhi was accused of receiving kickbacks in Bofors deal with Sweden. It was mega corruption scandal in India.
Emergency in India
13-Emergency in India was declared on 25 June, 1975 by Indra Ghandi government and it continue till 21 March, 1977.
Tashkent Declaration
14-Famous peace agreement between India and Pakistan for resolving the 1965 war issue was Tashkent Declaration. USSR facilitated the both countries in the dialogue. Tashkent Declaration was signed by Indian PM Lal Bahadur Shastri and Pakistani President Ayub Khan on 10th Jan, 1966.
Feroze Gandhi
15-Husband of Indra Ghandi was a Parsi politician and journalist Feroze Gandhi. Couple wed on March 26, 1942. They had 2 sons Rajiv Gandhi and Sanjay Gandhi. Feroze Gandhi died on 8 September, 1960. His complete name was Feroze Jehangir Ghandy. Nehru was against this marriage.
Maneka Gandhi
16-Sanjay Gandhi wed with Maneka Gandhi on 23 September 1974. Varun Gandhi is their son. Maneka Gandhi is now a days in BJP.
Atal Bihari Vajpayee
17-Atal Bihari Vajpayee was the first ever Prime Minister of India from BJP. He served as PM three time. He is famous for his peace initiative with Pakistan. In 13 1996 he stayed in PM office for 13 days then in , then 1998-99 he remained PM for 13 months and in the last he enjoyed a complete term from 1999 to 2004. He was born on 25 Dec, 1924 and died on 16 August, 2018.
Indian National Congress
18-Indian National Congress was founded in on 28 December, 1885 by Allan Octavian Hume at Mumbai. After first world war Mahatma Gandhi became the supreme leader and icon of INC.
Sanjay Gandhi
19-Sanjay Gandhi died in an aviation accident on 23 June, 1980. He was the younger son of Indra Ghandi and Feroze Gandhi. He is notorious for using the power of PM during emergency period and slapping her mother Indra Gandhi.
Zakir Hussain
20-Zakir Hussain was the first Muslim President of India (13 May, 1967 to 3 May, 1969). He remained in office for 1 year and 355 days.
