He has been a member of the National Assembly of Pakistan from 2002 to 2007 and again from 2013 to 2018. Till his death on 9th June, 2022 he was serving as member of national assembly. Hussain was born in Karachi on 5 July 1971. He graduated from Dow Medical College in 1997 and later obtained a Master’s degree in Islamic Studies from the University of Karachi.
