BREAKING NEWS – PUNJAB UNIVERSITY SAYS GOOD BYE TO NTS TESTS

BREAKING NEWS -1- EXCLUSION OF NTS TESTS FROM PUNJAB UNIVERSITY

Students we have three breaking news for you. First the  Punjab University has decided not to take NTS test for granting admission in its MPhil, MS and PhD programs. Now all the departments will take their separate internal entry test for granting admission in MPhil, MS and  PhD programs. This decision was taken in a meeting of deans of all faculties, heads of all departments and principals of institutes, colleges and centers. Vice chancellor presided this high level meeting.

GAT Subject and GAT General were the mandatory tests for admission in MS/MPhil and PhD programs but Lahore High Court declared in its decision that NTS is an illegal body and as a private firm it is not eligible to take entry tests for granting admissions and scholarships. Lahore High Court also declared that HEC recognized universities are not bound to follow the NTS results for granting admissions and scholarships and NTS can not claim to be the HEC approved National Testing System. Punjab University is the first public university which decided to obey the orders of Lahore High Court. You can read the news in Urdu below this post. Breaking News -2- Punjab University MA/MSc Part 1 Exams 2014 will Start from 26 June, 2014
Second breaking news is about PU MA date sheet 2014. Punjab University examination department has issued a notification according to which MA, MSc part one annual exams will start from 26 June 2014. Date sheet of MA, MSc part 1 exams will be issued later on.

Breaking News -3- Punjab Government will distribute 100000 free laptops among the student this year
Third breaking news is about Punjab governments  laptop scheme. Punjab government has decided to distribute one lac free laptops among the brilliant students of Punjab province. Earlier Punjab government has decided to distribute 25000 free laptops among the students of Punjab.
