HEC Extends The Data Verification Date For Prime Minister’s Free Laptops Distribution Scheme 2014
Higher Education Commission gave an newspaper ad on 20th September, 2014 and directed the students to validate their record on http://pmnls.hec.gov.pk . Cut of date for PhD/MS/M.Phil (or equivalent) students was 30 September and for BS /Master students was 31st August, 2014. It was noticed by Higher Education Commission that large number of students did not verify their record on above mentioned link. Universities, students and studysolutions.pk requested the HEC to extend the deadline as many students are not aware of this verification process. That’s why now HEC has extended the date for verification of record on HEC site to facilitate students.
Higher Education Commission has given 15 extra days to all students for verification. HEC has directed the eligible students to validate their record on http://pmnls.hec.gov.pk with in the revised deadline. Now students of PhD/MS/M.Phil (or equivalent) can validate their record till 31st October, 2014 and the students of BS and Master programs can verify their record till 30th November, 2014. Its a final notice for all students by Higher Education Commission. No further time will be given for this purpose at all.
Eligible candidates who will not verify their data on HEC portal will be considered ineligible. We also request you to share this alert with your friends and class mates. Maryam Nawaz has already directed the Higher Education Commission to complete the distribution process till December but remember that it is subject to your verification. So do not waste time and validate your data immediately on above mentioned link otherwise you will miss the opportunity of geeing free laptop. If you face any difficulty, kindly contact on following email and phone number.

“What is Last Exam %?
It is a percentage for marks obtained in Latest Bachelor/Master Degree ,as before June 2014. If you are in 1st semester that didn’t get percentage result yet then please enter % for marks obtained in HSC-Intermediate, 12 years of education or equivalent.”

Make sure your email is correct and you have its password and access if not simply make a new email id , wrong Email may Cancel your validation , more over after Submission it takes 3 to 4 Hours to be the part of portal subject to approval and validatity of data , You may verify email as below

type the code as the code matches both fields turned green then it means you have successfully verified your Email address.”

if you found any information incorrect in you record after becoming the part of the helpdesk portal, then simply you have to goto your focal person to send a collectively email of all such correction to HEC .
OR
if you have submit a ticket of Profile Correction then , ask your focal person to Login with HEC provided account and Move/forward that ticket to HEC so that it may be processed timely before Laptops Distribution.

AOA, sir you should prefer BS students for laptops especially computer science and software engineers and you are investigating that students are employed or not i think PHD and MS students do jobs and why only toperz will get the laptop
