500 Motorway Police Jobs 2021 (Patrol Officers) National Highways and Motorways Police By FPSC 2021
We have good news for those job seekers who want to join motorway police as patrol officer. Communication department has decided to recruit 500 patrol officers in National Highways & Motorway Police in year 2021. All these motorway police jobs 2021 are of 14 grade. 179 posts are reserved for department. 321 seats will be filled through quota system and open merit. All the posts of patrol officers in National Highways & Motorway Police will be filled through federal public service commission. Out of 321 posts 23 seats will be filled on open merit. Quota of different regions is as follows;
Punjab- 160
Sindh Rural Quota- 38
Sindh Urban Quota- 25
KPK- 38
Balochistan- 17
Gilgit Baltistan & FATA- 13
AJK- 7
No seats have been reserved for females, disables and minorities in open merit. These seats have been included in the provincial quota. As per the rule and regulations of federal public service commission 10% seats have been reserved for females, 2 percent for disable persons and minorities. 21 seats from quota of Punjab has been reserved for females and 8 for special person and minorities. 6 seats from rural Sindh quota has been reserved for females and 3 for minorities. 4 seats from urban Sindh seats have been reserved for women and 1 for minority candidates. More detail has been given in the newspaper ad cutting below this post. These are temporary jobs but likely to be permanent.

Duties of Motorways Police Patrol Officers
Petrol officers will have to enforce laws, rules and regulations under National highways safety ordinance 2000. They will regulate the traffic by ensuring smooth flow of vehicles on motorways and highways. Educating and guiding the road users, drivers and travelers about road safety is also included in their duties n toll plazas and designated points. They will also provide help to road users and rescue the accident victims.
Eligibility Criteria For 321 Posts of Patrol Officers in Motorways Police By FPSC 2021
1-Both male and female candidates are eligible to apply for the posts of Patrol officers
2-Candidate’s age must be between 18 to 25 years but 5 years general age relaxation will be granted in upper age limit.
3-Candidate must have passed bachelor degree in second class or C grade in any discipline.
4-Physical Standard-Minimum required height is 5 feet 8 inches. Female candidates of Baluchistan will be given 1 inch relaxation in minimum height standard while male candidates will be given 2 inches relaxation.
5-Minimum chest measurement should be 33″-35″. Relax-able by 1″ but it is not mentioned that is this relaxation is only for Baluchistan candidates or for general candidates.
6-Candidate must be proficient in car and motorcycle driving.
