Revised Government Strategy For Distribution of Free Laptops Under PM & CM Schemes 2014 As per media news government has decided to distribute laptops under Prime Minister and chief minister free laptop distribution scheme silently without organizing big functions attended by senior government officials. Now laptops will be distributed through concern institutions. Insaf students federation and PTI had decided to raise "go Nawaz go" slogans in laptop distribution functions so to avoid any clash between MSF and ISF government has taken this decision.Now 100,000 laptops will be handed over to Head of Departments, Chairmen, Deans, Directors, Principals and Vice Chancellors for distribution in their concerned universities and colleges. In the past big functions were organized at public places and educational institution for this purpose and Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif, Maryam Nawaz and Hamza Shahbaz used to distribute laptops, due to which government also had to face criticism. To avoid any embarrassing situation and clash between student groups the strategy has been changed this year. Universities will be sent laptops as per their demand list for distribution purpose. In the first stage laptops will be distributed among the Doctorate. M.Phil and MS level students of Women colleges and renowned universities and this stage will start from next week. 6500 machines have been already handed over to Punjab University administration. As per daily dunya news in some institutions laptops have already been distributed silently without conducting any functions. Well students at last some authentic news about PM free laptop distribution scheme 2021-22 has been released by the concern authority i.e Higher Education Commission of Pakistan. A newspaper ad has been published in different newspapers about this scheme by HEC. As er this ad 100000 laptops will be distributed among brilliant students this year under the Prime Minister’s Youth Program. Eligibility criteria has been given on official website of HEC.

 

Higher Education Commission has announced through newspaper ad that data of eligible candidates has been uploaded on HEC website and validation process is continue. Students have to validate their data on HEC website m in order to be eligible for award of laptop. If you data is missing then you are directed to lodge your complaint immediately. You complaint will be transferred to focal person of your university, who is authorized to deal with such issues.

 

Higher Education Commission is insisting that the cause of delay in distribution of free laptops is that students are not validating their data on http://pmnls.hec.go.pk. Now HEC has set a deadline for validation of your record. Students of PhD/MS/M.Phil (or equivalent ) have been advised to validate their record till 0th September 2021. While students of BS or Master program can validate their record till 0st October, 2021. HEC has clearly mentioned that students who will not validate their record on above mentioned link will be considered ineligible for PM’s free laptop scheme. So please do not waste time and act upon the HEC advice. Specially PhD/MS/M.Phil students should do this immediately. as they have been given limited time for this purpose.     • It is written on HEC that Please use your own email id, CNIC and mobile number for validation process as the provided data will be used for further processing, In case of incorrect data or same email id used on behalf of other students may lead to cancellation of validation process. So it means that there is some further process. Contact HEC for details.

Sir my name along with some other student of other department are not populated in the list from the day first. We copmlaint several time to the focal person of my university, email to hec, pmnls official, personal grievances authority but they didnt gave any rasponce to us. Sir the distribution is started and our names are still absent from the list even after many time ensurance from the focal person. Sir please forward our complait to the authority of pmnls scheme and obliged.

    • Read the reply of HEC
      “How can I recieve verification code on my Number#?
      Make sure your cell number is not converted on anyother network , as it may not allow you to recieve verification code. verification code can not be reused.

      Enter your phone number like “0333123456”, as you get the code submit the code and press the verfication button if code matches it will simply both fields turns green

      How can I verify Email and When i will become registered ?
      Make sure your email is correct and you have its password and access if not simply make a new email id , wrong Email may Cancel your validation , more over after Submission it takes 3 to 4 Hours to be the part of portal subject to approval and validatity of data , You may verify email as below

      Enter your correct /proper Email address carefully and press the verify Email button , you may get the verification code on email

      type the code as the code matches both fields turned green then it means you have successfully verified your Email address.”

    • Answer of query that has been given on HEC site is as under
      What is “InProcess record” Status?
      “Student with this status may pursue to their respective university / Post Graduate Colleges ,they may ask the Focal Person to Login verify the information for validation with in the system as per the crietria mention and addressed by HEC , unless university may not complete the Process their status would be remained “inProcess””

  74. sir, we are international islamic university students and my name is in the hec list but i have heard that laptops which are given to our university are less bcz our uni students are triple times greater than other uni’s our uni passed the list of 8000 students to hec but quantity of laptops are less. so according to that only toperz will get laptop and i think computer and software engineering students are more deserving bcz they make softwares and all work they do on laptop. and i am final year student i really need laptop bcz i have to final year project. kindly read my comment and give response
